From its inception in 2003, Beijing Sound-Puhua Technology nurtured itself as a producer of reactive power compensation device for use on wind turbines and wind farms. Today, Sound distinguishes itself as a smart-grid equipment developer, focusing particularly on its “D-Facts” flexible AC transmission & distribution equipment and grid monitoring devices. Sound’s efforts are reflected through their position as the sole low-power compensator provider for Goldwind’s 750kW wind turbines and the completion of a number of wind farm projects using the high-power compensator.
